This was the amped up version of “Turpentine” which was on the “Unhappy Hour” record. One day, while goofing around at rehearsal we played the song at a faster tempo and to our surprise we liked it even better than the original. Later on we went into the studio to record a version of “This Land Is Your Land” to be used during the fourth of July fireworks. We had a little time left so we recorded a couple more tunes, including this one.
