about

When Bucky originally gave me the music for this tune, I thought it sounded like a leftover track from Kiss’s “Dressed To Kill” record. So I proceeded to write some lyrics that I thought Gene Simmons would be proud of and we had a great, greasy rock song about cheap motel rooms. We recorded the track right before we moved to Atlanta and after I met Fred McNeal, I knew he had to be on the track as the Ace to my Gene. It took some time to clear his busy schedule, but I’m a determined fella and we eventually got him into the studio.
